The Mayor’s Office of Racial Equity (ORE) works in collaboration with District leadership and agencies to apply a racial equity lens across government operations.
02.Council's Office on Racial Equity
The Council Office of Racial Equity’s (CORE) mission is to eliminate racial disparities and achieve racial equity in the District of Columbia. When successful, race will no longer predict opportunities, outcomes, or the distribution of resources for residents of the District, particularly for Black residents, Indigenous residents, and residents of color.
03.Opportunity Creation Initiative
Support and participate in initiatives that generate new opportunities for residents across Washington, DC. This service focuses on empowering individuals and communities through programs that enhance education, employment, and economic empowerment.
