The project will begin at:

 

Art All Night - Saturday, Sept 12, 4-10 PM, in front of small business Core 72  (5502 Connecticut Ave, NW, DC)

 

and continue at:

 

Chevy Chase Day -  Saturday, Sept 19, 1-4 PM, in front of the Chevy Chase DC Public Library

 

Everyone is invited to paint rocks with their special touch that will be aligned to form an ever-growing rock “bookworm”. 

 

All materials (including rocks) will be provided courtesy of Chevy Chase Forward.  

 

A naming contest for the worm will be held, with a prize for the winning name to be awarded at Chevy Chase Day! 

 

Going forward, painted rocks can be added - from home, school, after-care, etc. at will and we’ll watch the growth...
